Support We've Received Date: January 5, 2005 My name is Nathan Evans I live in Zebulon, NC (just east of Raleigh). My daughter Ava (our first child) was born on Nov 23, 2003. A month after her birth her pediatrician discovered a VSD. So far, Ava's VSD appears to be closing on its own. In fact, the day before Thanksgiving 2004, her cardiologist told us it appeared to heal so that surgery is now unnecessary. What a Thanksgiving blessing. Of course, we are to monitor her condition with follow-ups to the cardiologist, but for now all appears positive. Since her diagnosis, I have wanted to get involved, to "make a difference". To this end, I have researched a great number of pediatric cardiology foundations and charities. There is something about Ryan's story and the nature of your foundation which struck me more than any other. I would very much like to participate in your 2005 run and I would like to bring a "NC contingent". Is there anything I can do (besides show up with as many runners as possible) to make a difference in your 2005 run? I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Nathan Evans To find out more about our Grants and Funding, please click here.
